What have we been up to?

As many of you know, Luke works for the Canal & River Trust , so keeping our local waterways clean is something that’s really important to us at The Owen Project. That and walking down the canals is one of the littlest Owens favourite things to do.

On the 12th September, we took part in our Second canal clean-up of the year - and what a day it was! We managed to get five big bags of rubbish collected before the heavens opened and we got absolutely soaked !

We may not have made it quite as far along the canal as we had hoped this time, but every bag of rubbish we removed makes a difference. Small actions really can have a big impact on the places we live, work and spend time in.
